AOC Bandol
The history of Domaine Ray Jane is over 700 years old! With each generation, the skill of winemakers and the quality of the wine created here are increasing. More than a third of the vineyards consist of century-old vines on 34 hectares of clay-limestone soil. This area is ideal for the king of the appellation grown here – the Mourvèdre variety. Today, the domain is taken care of by brothers Julien and Vincent.
Clay-limestone soils. Vinification with whole bunches, aging in barrels for 2 years and 7 years in the bottle.
Philosophy: to convey through wine the centuries-old family spirit and unique sound of traditional Bandol wines.
The greedy nose with bright notes of red fruits simultaneously reveals spicy notes and nuances of undergrowth. The dense taste reveals silky tannins and beautiful balance, elasticity and elegance.
